BAFE Certified Fire Risk Assessments

At CertsPlus, our fire risk assessments are certified and approved by the British Approvals for Fire Equipment (BAFE) and we are an affiliate member of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM).

It is not a requirement to be approved by BAFE or obtain affiliation from IFSM, however it is considered a high standard which we can demonstrate. This ensures our fire risk assessments are high-quality, legally compliant and is an independent audit of the processes we use to help you manage your premises' fire safety.

PAS79 & BS9792 Compliant

PAS79: A British standard for fire risk assessments, most commonly used in commercial premises, such as offices, factories, residential care homes and more.

BS9792: A British standard for fire risk assessments most commonly used in domestic premises such as smaller independent care facilities, student accommodations or any other houses with multiple occupation.

All our fire risk assessors are competent and are qualified to complete fire risk assessments to both PAS79 & BS9792 standards, depending on the type of premises of your business.
